Why Third VP

Sometimes I get asked: “Why are you running for Third VP?“.

Anyone who knows me well knows and can testify that besides my family & my profession it is Toastmasters that is dear to my heart. Toastmasters has helped me much in my career and in my volunteer activities, so that I wish to see as many people as possible to avail themselves of this opportunity.

The Toastmasters organization has vast unrealized potentials and I wish to bring my broad experience and wide knowledge to realize some of these potentials. I wish to continue serving you, the individual Toastmaster and helping you to achieve your goals.
Having directly interacted with many nationalities, cultures and practices I am equipped to serve you and understand your needs in all parts of the world.

In this time of change all around us, Toastmasters included, Toastmasters International needs leaders with the right experience. Not only do I have the right professional and technical experience and the experience in other volunteer organizations, but also having gone through six corporate mergers and acquisitions as a manager and leader, some international, I have gained the experience on how to implement, monitor and evaluate changes being effected.

In short, I bring the right experience at the right time to the Toastmasters organization which will contribute to the growth and strengthening of Toastmasters International and to assure that your organization has the proper tools to help you the member.
